Letters to Santa Terms & Conditions

  1. General
    • The Letters to Santa Community Event (“the Event”) is organised and hosted by Red & Grey Realty, located at 4/23 Brisbane Road, Mooloolaba QLD 4557.
    • The Event is a free community initiative intended to spread Christmas cheer and encourage local participation.
    • Participation in the Event is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
  2. How to Participate
    • Children are invited to write a letter to Santa and post it into Santa’s Mailbox located outside the Red & Grey Realty Office, located at 4/23 Brisbane Road, Mooloolaba QLD 4557. Letters may be posted between 9:00am and 4:00pm, from Thursday, 20th November 2025 until 3:00pm on Monday, 15 December 2025.
    • To be eligible for a personalised reply from Santa, Parents or Guardians must ensure the following:
      • The Child’s full name and postal address are clearly written on the top left corner on the front of the envelope.
      • The parents' or Guardians' full name, email address, and mobile number are written clearly on the back of the envelope.
    • Only one letter per Child may be submitted.
    • Letters must be submitted by 3:00pm, Monday the 15th December 2025 to allow time for replies to be prepared and sent.
  3. Santa’s Reply
    • Each eligible letter will receive a personalised reply from Santa, which may include a Naughty or Nice Certificate.
    • Red & Grey Realty (Santa’s local helpers!) will contact the Parent or Guardian to confirm details prior to preparing the reply.
    • Parents or Guardians may advise whether they would like their child to receive a Naughty or Nice Certificate as part of the response.
    • Parents or Guardians may also include a short personalised message for Santa to add to their child's letter (e.g., a word of encouragement, praise, or reminder).
    • Replies will be sent during the week commencing Monday, the 15th of December 2025.
  4. Mailing List
    • Participation in the Event is free; however, in order for a child to receive a reply from Santa, the Parent or Guardian must agree to join Red & Grey Realty’s mailing list.
    • By providing contact details on the envelope, Parents or Guardians acknowledge and consent to being added to the mailing list.
    • Subscribers may unsubscribe at any time by following the instructions provided in any email communication or by contacting Red & Grey Realty directly.
    • Personal information collected will be handled in accordance with Australian Privacy Principles and Red & Grey Realty’s Privacy Policy.
  5. Privacy & Data Collection
    • Contact details provided will only be used for:
      • Communicating about the Santa Letter Reply; and
      • Future updates, newsletters, and local community event information from Red & Grey Realty.
    • No personal details will be shared with third parties without consent.
    • All letters and responses are treated with care and confidentiality.
  6. Liability
    • While every effort is made to ensure all letters receive a reply, Red & Grey Realty is not responsible for lost, damaged, illegible, or late submissions.
    • Replies from Santa are provided in good spirit as part of a community activity and hold no commercial value.
